Scout Masterson & Bill Horn

We met in 2002 & It was truly love at first sight. We thoroughly enjoy spending time with one another, traveling around the world, and meeting new and interesting people. At this point in our lives we are ready to start a family and can’t wait to fill our home with the sound of a child’s laughter. Bill is an entertainment publicist and Scout is a casting director for television and film. We love our jobs and are fortunate that they allow us enough flexibility to work from our home a lot. We will be taking advantage of this so we can spend as much time at home with our baby as possible. We want to share our life with a newborn and spend the rest of our lives watching our child grow and prosper. We hope to be supportive, nurturing, and loving parents to a child who will never doubt our love for him or her.

We enjoy our “playtime” filled with our extended family of friends. From hosting home cooked weekend brunches, to enjoying a day playing and lounging in the pool, we love to share our days with the ones we love. We also enjoy and cherish our quiet movie nights at home, when we can cuddle up and just spend time with each other. We’ve already started a collection of family friendly DVDs to share with our child. We love to travel, and as soon as our baby is old enough, we hope to take him/her all across the country and overseas. So far in our life together, we’ve visited the bustling cities of London, Paris, and Barcelona, as well as many relaxing destinations such as Mexico, Jamaica, and Hawaii. We look forward to raising our child in a warm, loving home filled with close friends, play, laughter, and lots of home made meals.

Bill grew up in New Jersey and Scout grew up in the countryside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania (home of the Groundhog). Today, Bill’s parents still live in that same small NJ town he grew up in, while Scout’s parents have homes in Western Pennsylvania and Florida (Near Disney World!). They are beyond excited about a grandchild, and have even started planning visits and sending toys! We share our lives with our beloved dogs – Chihuahuas named Jessica and Stanley. They both adore children and will love having a child around the house to play with. We spend holidays and special occasions with our parents on the East Coast and are fortunate to have our extended family of friends to share our everyday lives with here in Los Angeles. This close knit circle of extended “family” includes our friends with young children who we proudly call our niece and nephew. We love spending time with them in their play room, outside in the pool, or on other little adventures around town.

We live in a family friendly neighborhood in sunny Woodland Hills, California – a suburb of Los Angeles. We have a large grassy yard for our child to play in and can’t wait to take him or her for a dip in our pool. In our neighborhood children play together, ride bikes on a nearby bike trail, and play soccer and baseball on fields within walking distance of our house. Also, the area is known for its excellent school system, which is important to us because we value education. We look forward to taking our child to the beach in Santa Monica and Malibu, which is just a short drive from our home.
