My Wife Helena
After all these years of knowing her, the more I get to know her
the more special she becomes to me. She truly is the most
courageous and caring person I have ever met, a “Do All” type.
As a woman with a career, she runs our household, loves to
play in the dirt or in the air, but also to dress up for an evening
out. She can’t wait to have a little one around to read books,
sing, play and make healthy meals in the kitchen together. I
look forward to being by her side as she shares her love of life
with our child and begins the journey of her biggest dream of
“Being a Mom.”

Hobbies:
Mountainbiking, dirtbike riding, skiing, hiking, flying.
Activities:
Hanging out with family and friends and cooking for them. Tending to my herb garden.

Ladies in Lavender, Top Gun, Pipi Longstocking, Serendipity and Warren Miller Ski Movies
Favorite Music:
80’s music and Reggae.
Travels:
The mountains, whether its summer or winter time. And I love to explore new countries. I want to see a new country every year.
Favorite Food:
Sashimi and any grilled fresh fish. All of my homemade dishes
Our Story
We met at a bicycle show fourteen years ago. From the
moment Jeff laid eyes on Helena he knew we would
someday be married. It was not until six years later that
we started dating after many years of being best of
friends. He proposed on the slopes of our favorite ski
resort, and we married in the mountains of beautiful Lake
Tahoe in 2005. We are soul mates, each others’ best
friends and spend all of our free time together.
Jeff is a partner in an automotive accessories company,
in charge of making new products which allows him a
flexible schedule. Helena is a partner in a family business,
also in the automotive accessory segment, where she is
the Controller/Chief Financial Officer. Helena plans to
work part-time once we have a baby.
Our Home
We live in the family-oriented neighborhood of
Newport Coast, California that is close to the ocean.
Our home is next door to a colorful playground,
steps away from the community swimming pool,
minutes from the sports park and the hiking and
biking trails. We can’t wait to explore the trails with our
child and build sandcastles on the beach. When
we come home we feel like we are miles away from
the city and the ocean breeze invites peace into our
home. The local school district consistently ranks
among the top in the state.
Family and Friends
Helena grew up in Austria and moved to Southern
California at age 13. Jeff is a native Southern
Californian. His parents, who are Dutch, reside in
Arizona. We always take the time to nurture our
relationships with our parents. Helena’s family all
live nearby and we spend all holidays and other
family celebrations together. We have the best
time discovering the ski slopes with Helena’s sister’s
family and their 4 children. Our families and
friends can’t wait for us to become parents.
Being Parents
We approach life as a team and respect each other and we look forward to sharing in this new chapter of our life of being parents.
We plan to raise our child with unconditional love, lots of laughter and affection. We will encourage our child to be adventurous, pursue their interests and teach them to value family and education. We will teach our child to learn from mistakes and understand the difference between right and wrong. We’ll support our child through struggles and applaud him or her on a good job. We will help them grow into a confident, well rounded individual.
We have an abundance of love to offer and can’t wait to become parents!
My Husband Jeff
Jeff is the most dependable person in my life and
the rock of our relationship. He is compassionate,
considerate and his humor is out of this world. He
loves to make people laugh and you never know
what’s up his sleeve. One of his favorite things to do
is making up silly lyrics to songs and break out in a
dance. “Uncle Jeff” is adored by our friends and
families kids as he enjoys playing games with them.
He is looking forward to teaching him/her to ski and
ride a bike, as well as playing hide and seek and
singing to our child. I know that he will be the best
dad ever, just as he is the best husband.

Almost all types but my favorites are 70’s Rock and 80’s and I am the king of knowing the name of songs and who performed it.
