Makiko is a warm and compassionate woman. She has a creative mind and brings out the best in everyone around her. She works as an account executive for a logistics firm. She played tennis in high school and stays active with her hobbies such as crafting, quilting, and knitting. She likes to snow ski in the winter and scuba dives in the summer. Sharing these joys with our child will be a dream come true for her. Education is very important to her and there is no doubt that she will strive to make sure our child gets the best education possible.

About us

We have been married for 7 years, and have been a couple since 1994. You can often find us doing some of our favorite activities such as skiing, fishing, golfing and traveling. Our spacious home in Brentwood, California is 45 miles East of San Francisco. Our neighborhood is full of young families with children. Our child will enjoy a home life full of love, creativity and fun. Playtime with friends, walks to the park and school, and visits to family will give our child a sense of community. We chose our wonderful community because we felt it was the perfect place to raise a family.

Our family

Both our families are very anxious for the arrival of their new grandchild. Robert*s family lives close by and can't wait to cuddle their first grandchild. Makiko's family lives in Japan and can't wait to share all the beauty and culture of their country. We enjoy our big family gatherings especially to celebrate New Year's day, when we catch up with each other and enjoy watching the children having fun and enjoying the family feast.

We are both from extremely nurturing and loving families and have very happy memories of our childhood spending time with our parents. Robert, by Makiko

Robert is a very loyal and caring person. I know he will be an amazing dad to our child. He was a very competitive track runner and basketball player. Now he enjoys playing golf. One of Robert's favorite days of the week is Sunday when we get together with friends for barbeques. Robert works as a rebar consultant doing estimates and details for contractors. He owns his own company and works from home. Being self-employed will allow him to spend a lot of time with our child at home and be a very active part of his or her life.
