We understand that this decision will be one of the biggest of your life and will be based on love, trust and what is in the best interest for you and your child. We will try to provide you with some insight into our family, our values and who we are. We chose open adoption because we believe it is important for our child to know his or her birthmother and what a loving decision was made. The things that impress me most about Roxanne are her big heart, her commitment to all she does and her endless love and affection for family. Roxanne has a very giving nature, is supportive and easy to talk to. Her nieces and nephews often go to her for support and guidance. When I see her interact with our nieces and nephews, I can see how gentle, loving and caring she will be with our own child, as she wipes a little nose and cleans his/her little hands before dinner. I can picture Roxanne sitting on the floor with our child, laughing and giggling as she makes up stories and games to play. She enjoys dancing, snow skiing, traveling, jet skiing, musicals, dirt bike riding, camping, and most of all spending time with family. Roxanne currently works as the Operations Manager for a Motor Home Rental Agency for the entertainment industry. She is fortunate to have a flexible work schedule that will allow her to take a few months off when we bring our baby home.

Virginia is the most selfless and genuinely considerate person I know. She is a sensitive, patient, honest and loving woman who has a great sense of humor. Virginia shows her love by bringing our family together for incredible, home-cooked meals that she prepares from scratch. I can see her teaching our child all of the family recipes to be passed to the next generation. She also enjoys cycling, hiking, fishing, skiing, camping, learning new things and spending time with family. I can just imagine Virginia gently tucking our baby into the stroller for family walks around the neighborhood. We are excited about sharing all of these activities with our little boy or girl. Virginia grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and lived in Boston for 5 years before moving to California, where she has lived since 1990. Virginia enjoys her job as a Vice President at a local cable company.

Our child will learn by example that strong, loving families come in all shapes and sizes and are formed in many different ways. The values we share together are that family comes first-no matter what. We will emphasize the importance of diversity, acceptance, love and humor in everyday life. We believe in making sure our child gets a good education and has the support of a loving and nurturing family. We are both fortunate to come from families that support and cherish these values and who will be great role models for our child.
