Monica, David, and Zak Stone

We consider ourselves a warm and fun-loving family. We enjoy life's little adventures whenever we can, from a simple walk to the local Farmer's Market to traveling to other parts of the world.

We believe that introducing our children to the culture and education the world has to offer will enable them to grow into well-rounded individuals.

It is important to us for Monica to be a STAY-AT-HOME-MOM so that our children are given every opportunity to learn, grow, and share in an environment that is nurturing and positive.

Since welcoming Zak into our lives, Monica has been home with him, although she is keeping her real estate license active. We both come from smaller families, David has one sister and three nieces in Florida, and Monica has two sisters in Southern California, with three nieces and one nephew.

They all can't wait for Zak to have a new little brother or sister and for the arrival of a new cousin!

Monica is the most fun, energetic, and loving person that you could ever meet. She is creative, artistic, warm hearted, and has become the perfect mom that I knew she would be.

Before Zak came into our lives, Monica was a full time real estate agent. Although she is still a licensed agent, being a mother to Zak is definitely her full time job and something that she absolutely loves.

From creating hide and seek games, to scrambling eggs in his special bowl, she has created such a positive and nurturing environment for Zak, and will do the same when we welcome another baby.

It's fun to watch Zak mimic her phrases and expressions, as she is definitely his idol. She is looking forward (and so are Zak and I), to adding another member to our family.

Her high energy and childlike imagination will continue to create a daily amusing and enjoyable experience for our family.

When I think of David there are many words that come to mind
in describing him...he is kind-hearted, hilariously clever,
brilliant, passionate, and has an ability to multi-task that is mind boggling!

He grew up in Pennsylvania playing tennis, the trumpet, and drums. In addition to his incredible parenting skills he is a self-starter and owns his own printing company which he began after he graduated from college.

Not only do I admire his commitment to our family and how much he provides for us to have a balanced unity, but am also grateful that David is such a great role model and an equal partner when it comes to loving, teaching, and nurturing our son.

I enjoy watching him run around with Zak, either playing
hide-and-seek or Zak's favorite game "Run FAST" (version of a race competition). Since Zak loves bedtime stories or singing songs prior to turning in for the night, it brings a smile to my face when I hear their lullaby concerto with words they make up as the sing along...

I never know what they will come up with next! I look forward to the day when I watch him build new routines with our next child.

Our life with our son Zak has been amazing. He has brought us unimaginable joy and so much laughter! He recently turned 2 years old and it has been fun to see how much his personality is taking shape as he continues to discover and learn new things.

He loves to sing, pound on his keyboard, and play ball, whether it's basketball, baseball or just chasing one at the playground...oh, can't forget about his trains, choo choo!

Zak is extremely social, he enjoys interacting with his friends, so we set up weekly play dates at different parks and museums.
