About Me

I enjoy music and movies that make me laugh, which is why I enjoy everything Disney. I'm looking forward to singing and dancing with my child's favorite Disney movie as we play it over and over. I'm excited to watch my child participate in the great children's ministry at my church. It will be so wonderful to see my child singing and dancing in the children's program each Sunday. I'll be there cheering them on and taking lots of pictures as they dance and sing!

My family

My family is important to me and a big part of my daily life. I'm lucky to have my parents and sister close by. We love getting together for cookouts and I'm excited for my child to join in the food and fun. My parents are avid readers and have instilled the love of reading in their children and grandchildren. I look forward to reading each night to my child while rocking or curled up together on the couch. Gramma and Grampa are retired and love going to thier grandkids' school plays and recitals. They look forward to having another grandchild to spoil!

My Home

I live in lovely Powhatan, which is near Richmond, Virginia. There is a great kindergarten a short drive from my home and it will be exciting to take my child the first day of school. My house is cozy and it's always a blessing when it's full of people! I enjoy reading in the sunroom and making meals in my bright, open kitchen. I look forward to hearing my child's laughter echoing through the house as I trip over the many toys in my home. I live on a wooded lot with plenty of room for my child to run and play. It will be fun to play ball, ride bikes, and swing with my child.

My Career

My job as a registered nurse is perfect for me because I enjoy taking care of people and love the challenge of nursing. It's rewarding to know that I made a difference to someone because I was there with caring, gentle hands during a difficult time. Nurturing and caring for people comes naturally to me. Having a child of my own to nurture and encourage will be a dream come true. My job gives me a flexible work schedule so I will be spending lots of time with my child.
