Open Adoption Counselor, Florida Branch
Audra is an Open Adoption Counselor and is happy to be joining IAC for the excitement of opening the Florida Branch in Tampa. Audra graduated from University of Evansville with her B.S. in psychology, and University of Central Florida with her M.S.W. In her free time, Audra enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors, completing DIY projects, and hanging out with friends and family.
Open Adoption Counselor, Texas Branch
Cindy has a degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a counselor at IAC’s newest office in Texas. She enjoys talking to birthparents about open adoption and supporting them as they make the decision that is best for them. In her free time, Cindy enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading a good book, and cheering for her beloved Florida State football team.
Open Adoption Counselor, San Francisco Bay Area Branch
Adoption has always held a special place in Nashwa's heart since both her and her husband’s grandparents were adopted. Prior to working at IAC, Nashwa worked with pregnant and parenting foster care youth and helped start a sex education program for middle and high school students in Oakland Unified School District. Working with IAC, feel like a “full circle moment.” When not working, Nashwa enjoys fostering stray cats and dogs, hiking, throwing TV and movie viewing parties, and travelling back to Egypt to spend time with her family.
Open Adoption Counselor, New York Branch
Stephanie has a Bachelor’s in Youth and Community Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University. She is a counselor in IAC’s NYC office. She has a background working with youth in both non-profit and high school settings. She finds supporting women in crisis particularly rewarding and enjoys the opportunity to talk about open adoption. When not working, Stephanie enjoys travel, reading, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Open Adoption Counselor, Georgia Branch
Kyndall earned her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Kyndall’s social work experiences span from child welfare, to nonprofit work, to school social work. Adoption is her biggest passion in the field of social work, and she is so excited for the opportunity to help build families through open adoption. In her free time, Kyndall enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and playing with her little nieces.
Open Adoption Counselor, Raleigh Branch
Keyanna has a personal passion for children and families. She has dedicated her life to helping children and loves to serve others. Keyanna has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from North Carolina Central University and Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Keyanna is excited about her role as an Open Adoption Counselor allowing her to serve in a new way. When she’s not at work Keyanna loves spending time with her family, shopping, and baking.

Tanya graduated from the historic College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Tanya went on to receive her Master's of Social Work from Indiana University in 2011. As a licensed social worker, Tanya has a passion for working with children and families, and has held jobs with Healthy Families Indiana, Adult and Child Mental Health Center, and most recently as a Child & Adolescent Therapist with Midtown Community Mental Health Center. Tanya is excited to continue helping children and families through the gift of open adoption. When Tanya is not working she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, reading and doing Zumba!
Open Adoption Counselor, Los Angeles Branch
Kathleen has always been very passionate about women’s reproductive health and choices, as well as children and families. As an Open Adoption Counselor at the IAC, she is able to combine these interests and help people from all parts of the adoption triad experience the wonder of open adoption. Kathleen graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology. She then went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Social Work degree at Columbia University in New York and was a post-graduate fellow in Clinical Social Work at Yale University. Kathleen has worked for the IAC since 2007 and loves being a part of such an amazing process. In her spare time, Kathleen loves visiting friends and family around the country, hiking with her dog, Lola, and staying active with yoga, dance, and Pilates.
